Whether you are a family member, a friend, or an individual affected by a life-threatening disease, Tanglewood offers a form of ministry and care just for you. The first Thursday each month a support group for those affected in any way by Cancer are held at the church for a time of sharing and strength. Everyone is welcome whether you attend Tanglewood Church or not.
One of the best things about “the church” is that it reaches beyond the walls of a building. The Tanglewood family knows how important it is to share Christ’s love with others outside of the regular Sunday and Wednesday services, and volunteer work at Mary’s Soup Kitchen is one of the ways we reach out locally to those in need.
The church also participates in various community outreach projects throughout the year in partnership with other local churches and organizations. Erasing the Lines is one such week-long event wherein middle and high school students volunteer locally alongside their peers.
Tanglewood works hard to make sure that all those that walk through our doors are able to participate in the service and receive the message God has for them. Sign language interpretation and assistance for the deaf and hard of hearing is offered each week in our second Sunday morning service.
